Dr. Bataille has been practicing medicine for over 21 years. She studied in Mexico, and after graduating, stayed in Oaxaca to learn about Aztec culture and the art of rejuvenation.
In 1997, she joined a research study in geriatric medicine at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. She then completed internships in Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida (1999) and Internal Medicine at San Juan City Hospital (2001), eventually specializing in Internal Medicine.
Her passion for health and longevity led her to study obesity in more detail. She learned that the key to weight issues lies in our cells—about 37.2 trillion of them. She also studied telomeres, tiny parts of our cells that affect how long we live, and how to protect them for a longer, healthier life. Dr. Bataille focuses on using lifestyle and food as medicine. She incorporates the benefits of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and grains into her care. Inspired by Hippocrates, she believes food is the best medicine.
She’s certified in weight loss (bariatric medicine), aesthetic medicine, and rejuvenation. For the past eight years, she’s helped hundreds of patients lose weight through treatments like mesotherapy and carboxytherapy. She also offers body sculpting and contouring. Dr. Bataille is affiliated with Sentara Potomac Hospital and Mary Washington Hospital. She’s a proud member of the New England Journal of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. In 2016, she was recognized as one of the top physicians. She loves her patients and treats them like family. Dr. Bataille speaks English, Spanish, and French.
